We are in search of a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Special Needs School located in Slough. The chosen candidate will work with a diverse range of students with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities), and MLD (Moderate Learning Disabilities).
Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Collaborating with the class teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to students with SEN.
- Providing support to students in both their academic and personal development.
- Assisting students with their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Establishing positive and supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or previous experience working with SEN students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with others.
- Demonstrated empathy and understanding towards students with Special Educational Needs.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
