Job Title: Personal Care Assistant

Location: Roman Way, Islington

Working Hours: 1 hour in the morning (9:00am - 9:30am) and 1 hour in the evening (6:00pm - 6:30pm), 7 days per week.

Role Description:

We are looking for Personal Care Assistants to provide support to a woman living with Dementia in Roman Way, Islington. The primary responsibilities include assisting with meal preparation (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), reminding the individual to take medication, and providing prompts and assistance for personal care, including body and hair washing.

The role is divided into two shifts: one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. It is open to candidates who can provide holiday or sickness cover for each other, making it suitable for job sharing.

Requirements:

• Availability to work one hour in the morning (9:00am - 9:30am) and one hour in the evening (6:00pm - 6:30pm) on a daily basis.
• Willingness and capability to assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal care.
• Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals living with Dementia.
• Flexibility to provide occasional cover for the other Personal Care Assistant.
