Live-out Head Housekeeper

A family who resides in a substantial property in Mayfair require an efficient, highly experienced, live-out Head Housekeeper who will oversee and guide the team of Housekeepers by example. A semi-formal, family household with high expectations, your role would be to ensure the smooth running and cleanliness of the home at all times. 

Three children aged 15-11 yrs, and two small (handbag size) dogs make up this international family who spend many of their school holidays overseas. 

When the family are away, you can revert from 9.00 am-5.00 pm, 5 days per week. When all are in residence, you will be responsible for working the shifts for the Housekeeping team which will include longer hours (approximately 9 hours per day), 5 days per week but covering weekends. Shifts tend to be 7.00am-4.00pm or 2.00pm-11.00pm when the clients are in residence.

You should be able to cook to a family-style level, or at least prepare breakfast for the children and Principals when necessary. There is a Private Chef employed for 5 days per week. They would also prefer if you have 'service' experience, and are happy to greet guests and deliver drinks.

A 'traditional' respectful Head Housekeeper who has the fine eye for detail and enjoys training staff to ensure the highest standards are met.

Working days - 5 per week (with flexibility).

Working hours - 9 hours per day, on a rota with morning and afternoon shifts.

Salary: circa £45,000 - £50,000 gross per annum.
