Housekeeper and Chef or Housekeeper and Gardener

Housekeeper and Chef or Housekeeper and Gardener required for a family with school-age children.

Picturesque rural setting, close to amenities and transport.

Housekeeping Duties will include:

General day to day household support, cleaning, tidying, wardrobe management, organising family laundry, shopping and other duties needed to support a busy home. You will be responsible for house security and house sitting when we are away.

Chef Duties will include:

Preparing family breakfast, lunch and dinner, catering when entertaining guests, menu planning, freezer management, purchasing ingredients, using homegrown produce and meats, cleaning of kitchens and equipment.

Gardening Duties will include:

Sweeping outdoor areas, mowing lawns: watering, planting, weeding, hedge cutting, clearing dog mess, looking after chickens, peacocks and fish, animal checks, general assistance with livestock, preparing outdoor seating areas, log chopping, dealing with rubbish and compost

General Assistance:

Help with school runs - driving license is a necessity.

Key Qualities / Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Eye for detail

• Must be kind, friendly and like children and animals.

• Have initiative

• Buckets of common sense

• Big smile
