Hospitality Team Member

Progress Scotland is a local charity that supports people from all backgrounds and all ages in the North of Glasgow. We are knowing for the great care that we take with participants, customers, volunteers and employees alike.

In Partnership with PTCT, we are supporting the Children's Holiday Food Programme which offers nutritious food and physical activity to children and young people during the school holidays.

Requirements:

Food handling - Experience working within the food industry. Minimal level 1 food and hygiene certificate. Experience working in the kitchen preparing hot and cold food... Washing and cutting produce and preparing sauces and dressings, following directions to ensure the accurate preparation of food. Adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Team working skills - Working as part of a team, communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure our service runs smoothly.

A key part of the role is manual handling this will be explained in more detail during your induction.

Location: Progress Scotland is based in Springburn North Glasgow. There is free parking on-site and we are well served by public transport.

This is a temporary position during the 6 weeks of the school holidays. The hours are 30 hours per week 5/7 between 8 am - 6 pm. There is an opportunity for this to become a permanent role.
