Head Chef - Kennington

Who are we? to keep it short and simple, we fry chicken to perfection. Famous for our fried chicken burgers, Other side fried have been slinging chicken for 5 years now. We have one fried chicken take away shop in the heart of Brixton, and a production/dark kitchen in Walworth which is close to Kennington train station. The job role will be for our Walworth site as head chef. 

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for the kitchen’s day to day operations.

stock levels, equipment and ingredients and purchasing the required products.

Responsible for the FNB stock management system for the restaurant.

Producing weekly stock reports and investigating variances and keeping GP consistent.

Testing and creating a new specials burger to go on the menu every month.

Ensures the restaurant complies with nutrition and sanitation requirements and maintains health and safety at all times.

Manage kitchen staff, kitchen and food preparation.

Estimates costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget.

Knowledge of prepping in bulk.

The ideal candidate must have 2 years of experience as a head chef and a track record of managing and leading a team.
