An established housebuilder is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work from their Nottingham office.
The role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the surveying within the business.
You will be responsible for the management of sub-contract orders, site valuations, work in progress, computer records, and the general surveying management duties for sites under your control.
The Company:
A leading residential developer in Nottingham. They have a mix of new build and conversion projects and build two-bed apartments, 3-4 bed semi and detached homes - all in the city centre.
The Person:
It is likely you will have previously worked as either a Quantity Surveyor or QS, Assistant QS looking for the next step in their career
The successful candidate will essentially have experience in the UK residential house building sector, with a minimum of HND/HNC in building relating studies. You must be fully conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel and hold a current driving licence.
Skills
The successful candidate must be ambitious, computer literate and good communicators who are able to demonstrate a professional and flexible approach to the demands of surveying for housing development and infrastructure.
