Public House Manager(s). 

The location: Tarring Village, Worthing, West Sussex. 

We’re looking for an efficient, friendly and experienced person or couple to join our team here at The Vine, Tarring Village, Worthing. We’re a small close-knit team working in a community-spirited environment. Once an old Sussex brewery, this historic pub is renowned for its comfortable and welcoming environment. It offers a spacious bar, a separate dining room and large garden, complete with children’s play area. We also have a patrons car park making it the perfect location for occasions. Live-in and cooking experience is preferable, but not essential.

The Role:


Work in the team to ensure that the pub and service is maintained to a high standard at all times



Deliver excellent customer service at all time



Supervision of staff and ensure in house training is completed



Stock control



Able to sacrifice working hours at weekends and evenings



Build on existing customer base and promote the business using a variety of marketing techniques and networking



Beer lines and bar cleaning



Adhere to Company policies and procedures



Always work within the Licensing guidelines outlined on the License



What you bring:


Ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative



Adaptable, enthusiastic and charismatic



Confident and experienced at handling cash



Personal licence to sell alcohol.
