Job Description

Location Acton W3

Hours Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm

Plan and monitor day to day running of the Operations Department to ensure smooth processing.
Ownership of the Logistics Operation, including SOP, Purchasing, Customer Service and stock management in warehouses in the US and UK.
Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors to achieve best in class service levels through ‘on time’ and ‘in full’ deliver.
Monitoring stock levels and product performance making sure planning and buying are appropriate to the required levels.
Ensure that the Department runs with legality and conformity to established regulations and standards.

Responsible for setting and delivering the Logistics Budget.
Ensure the Company Health & Safety policy is consistently applied throughout the function.
Monitoring and adjusting H&S procedures where necessary and being a leader in promoting H&S procedures are followed and adhered to.
Ensuring that all team members are trained in all aspects of safety performance.
Translate goals into clear and coherent objectives for individuals/teams as well as monitor performance and hold those accountable for delivery.
Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analysing, and interpreting data.
Constantly working on improvement in logistic finding sustainable solutions and working on reducing overall CO2 emission.
Be highly proactive in driving through initiatives and activities with enthusiasm and energy.
Demonstrate enhanced interpersonal skills which build trusting business relationships in a suitable supportive and collaborative way.
Contribute to a successful and effective team environment and company goals.

Ideal Experiences / Qualifications / Capabilities:

Exceptional Industry Supply Chain experience for a minimum of 3 years.
Management within an FMCG customer-facing environment.
Successful improvements in KPI and Operational performance.
Business & Budget Management.
The critical analyst can think outside the box in order to find the best solution in a challenging situation.

Proficient in Excel and Sage 200 or any other Finance and Management software.
