Job Posting: Aircraft Technical Trainer at CAE

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Aircraft Technical Trainer at CAE, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing technical training on aircraft products manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. Your role involves using your extensive aviation maintenance experience, technical training expertise, and computer skills to develop, deliver, and maintain state-of-the-art multimedia and computer-assisted courseware packages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering aircraft system training using a variety of instructional training aids, including multimedia presentations, aircraft components, and simulators.
  • Providing training to customers at various locations and managing and resolving a range of issues independently.
  • Identifying and supporting customers' needs and requests.
  • Conducting training in the classroom environment, utilizing videos, slides, Power Point presentations, and more.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7 years of related work experience in aviation maintenance and formal instructor training or practical experience delivering training.
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace or equivalent training.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and avionics aircraft systems related to your area of responsibility, along with prior instructional experience.
  • Ability to autonomously resolve customer instructional issues.
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (Windows 2000 Suite, PowerPoint, MS Word, Framemaker, MS Photo Editor) for developing, revising, and delivering training material and presentations.

Additional Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

  • EASA A&P preferred license.
  • Prior experience in the field of aviation ISD (Instructional Systems Design) preferred.
  • Bombardier experience preferred.
