Junior IT Engineer

A unique opportunity exists to work as a Junior IT engineer within a rapidly expanding MSP.

The job involves calling answering logging and resolving incidents, customer communication management and escalation of urgent issues. There is the coordination of third parties involved as well as updating of internal systems. This role suits an ambitious person with a natural gift for IT.

This will ideally be your first role in IT and the successful applicant will be looking for a long term career in IT with a view to progressing up to a consultant or management role. No qualifications are necessary, self-paced training will happen in the office as part of the day to day duties. There will also be constant mentoring and role development alongside the Founders of the business and senior staff.

The company supports a broad range of technologies for business clients including Local and Wide Area Networking, Server Infrastructure, End-User Devices, Cloud technologies and the development of applications.

You can expect instant exposure to environments using Azure, Office 365, HP/Dell hardware, Cisco/HP networking, all versions of Windows and peripheral devices such as phones and tablets.

The position is full time and office-based, just outside Charing Cross station.

Applicants will be expected to complete a technical test during an interview to gauge their ability. Excellent command of English is vital to the role.

The role will pay National Living Wage for the first year, then increase based on performance.
