Junior IT Admin / Helpdesk Engineer, Learn Back Office

Master Desktop IT Support and Laptop / Mobile Device Support and IT Systems Admin then begin to Learn Server-Side Back office, IT Security, get 1-2-1 mentoring and support from Head of IT/CISO. Get to own the internal IT Support function for the UK office of this Pan European co.

Need specific Desktop (Laptop Mobile) support experience ideally from within a small business office environment c. 30 - 70 internal users.

My client offers a superb opportunity for a conscientious, driven and determined Junior IT professional looking for a ground-up role from basic helpdesk to develop back-office through to server-side, virtualized systems admin with IT Security including Cloud and as associated Security where the majority of IT is headed.

The company itself is an IT company providing IT Security products and services to customers across the UK and you will be providing internal IT support to all of the team comprised of c. 40 people based on its London office (Southwark) some often based on client sites, some working away or from home and others predominantly in the office in London just by London Waterloo.

This superb role will see you start "ground up" by providing internal user support on Dell Laptops, Office 365, MS Teams, Windows 10, WDS, laptop imaging and device diagnosis and Group Policy AD basic Admin. We are really looking for a person to have an excellent troubleshooting and problem diagnosis skills as a de facto. This is essential as is first-rate written and verbal communication skills and the ability to take guidance and respond to training and mentoring. As your skills increase you'll be given more and more exposure to back-office systems and complex IT Systems Security Admin.
