Description

JIRA Application Support - Media - London - is looking for an experienced JIRA Support Specialist to join their team strong in administration, configuration and support of JIRA.

Are you a technically adept IT 1st line support technician with knowledge of JIRA? If so my client, one of the biggest advertising agencies in the world, are looking for a bright, motivated and enthusiastic support specialist focused on JIRA application.

You will provide 1st line support, user management and training to users of JIRA app across the enterprise. This will include gathering requirements and escalate issues while working with both internal and external stakeholders, customize workflows for multiple projects and create custom fields, new issue types, workflow statuses, transitions, post-functions, file configurations, mandatory fields and workflow schemes.

Experience and Skills Required:

-Minimum 1 year of experience in administration, configuration and support of JIRA

-Minimum 1 year of experience in an application support role working directly with application users

-Good analytical and organizational skills

-Ability to work well with the user from different disciplines with varying degree of technical knowledge

-Understanding of IT technology and service management

-Customer-orientated and focused on service quality

-Proactive and creative in finding solutions if a challenge appears on the horizon

-Attention to detail in gathering requirements from the client and then addressing the same to the solution provider

-Experience coordinating with a European team and supporting them on various projects in JIRA

-Experience with migrating of JIRA Issues smoothly from one instance to another.
