Construction / General building / multi-skilled tradesperson.
We are looking to have someone with a wide range of skills that has experience in building projects IE extensions and conversions from start to finish, kitchens, bathrooms and working to a very high standard.
You will be required to have experience in general building various aspects of the construction industry thus being multi-skilled and have a good general knowledge of the industry.
IE General building, Plumbing, electrical, plastering, carpentry, bathroom, kitchen fitting, etc etc.
We do not expect you to be fully skilled in all the above but you must have a good overall knowledge and skill set.
You must be physically fit as lots of areas of this position require manual handling and preferably a non-smoker.
You must be able to work to a very high standard and on your own initiative as well as part of an established team.
You will have your own tools.
Full driving licence is required.
You will be required to be on site ready for work by 7.45 am and we finish by 4.30 pm.
Our jobs are predominantly in East Sussex so please bear this in mind when applying.
We carry out all forms of works small and large mainly on residential properties.
This is from the footings all the way through to painting, decorating etc this is why you must be a multi-skilled person and be able to adapt yourself accordingly to all scenarios.
We are a small company with a long run of work and there will be occasions where you will have to deal with my clients directly so you must be punctual, polite and courteous at all times.
After a probationary period, the right applicant may have the use of a work van.
This position is on a self-employed basis so we require a UTR no and NI no if you do not have these or are not a British national please do not apply.
