Receptionist Job

An opportunity arise as receptionist in our fully private practice in London

2 Saturdays per month

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

- Advanced dental & facial practice - Chiswick

The role of receptionist is pivotal in ensuring that our outstanding patient journey is consistent.

The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, sensitive, vibrant and a team player. Experience in a customer management role is essential as is a degree of numeracy. Experience of social media although would be helpful.

Working knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis
calm and focused and able to work at fast pace and under pressure
Meet deadlines and produce monthly patient tracker
Be I.T literate
register new patients according to established office protocols
assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
verify and update patient information
inform patients of dental office procedures and policy
move patients through appointments as scheduled
enter all relevant patient information into data system
maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations
answer and manage incoming calls
respond and comply to requests for information
schedule patient appointments
confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
check daily appointment schedule
fill in cancellations and no-shows
organise referrals to other medical specialists

dispatch lab work appropriately
collect payments and print receipts from patients at time of treatment
inform patients of financial treatment plan options
arrange payment schedule with patients
prepare and mail billing statements
prepare claim forms for dental insurance
arrange supporting documents for insurance claims
sort and distribute incoming and outgoing post
monitor and maintain inventory of dental office supplies
Able to focus and fill the diary for all clinicians in the practice
update patient education materials
confident to carry out recalls/ and reschedule missed appointments by directly speaking with patients to reschedule
maintain a professional reception area
safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
File supplier and invoice
Must have excellent written and spoken English
Profession appearance
Knowledge of CQC
