Position: Permanent 1st Line Engineer IT Engineer
Location: North London (N20)
Salary: £21-24k per annum

About the role:

An excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about Information Technology (IT) to join our friendly team of Tech Experts. Candidates should have a basic understanding of desktop PC’s and Apple products, but MUST have a drive and passion to learn all things tech.

The successful candidate will join our team of friendly Tech Experts, providing on-site and remote support to clients from our office in North London servicing clients throughout London.

Basic Experience, skills and Qualifications

Knowledge of all computer components (Apple / Windows / Server)
CompTIAA+ preferred
Apple, Windows, routers, switches and understanding Cloud services
Good Client service skills
Knowledge of MS Office 365
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be detail oriented and self-motivating
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Good telephone manor/ communication skills
Applicants must be passionate about all technologies

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and log tickets via Zoho Service desk
Support via phone, email and remote access.
Mobile IT Support to contracted / non contracted clients
To provide I.T. support to our walk-in clients and remote support to contracted clients, assisting with hardware and software problems
Answering calls and logging issues accurately via our helpdesk system and providing suitable solutions to problems quickly and efficiently.
Proactively supporting and maintaining client servers and desktop infrastructure.
Serving clients, performing computer & laptop repairs at workshop, resolving computer & network problems, setting up new equipment.

Essentials:

Candidates must have either working I.T. experience or be a 'Geek' with a passion for all things tech, with confident and clear telephone and client facing communication skills.
