Yard Person (Construction & Plant Hire Machinery)

GBR Recruitment Ltd is working in partnership with a well established Plant Machinery Hire business recruiting for an experienced Yard Person / Yard Operative to join the Plant Hire business preparing the machinery/equipment ready for re-hire.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with Plant Hire Machinery or Construction Machinery experience or even someone who has worked as a Yard Operative within a Building Merchants or similar.

Duties:

* Moving all Plant Hire machinery around the yard & store it away

* Clean down all used Plant Hire machinery in preparation for re-hire to new customers

* Fully inspect all returned hire machinery for damage

* Allocate machinery to customer orders, loading machinery onto trailers ready for delivery to customers sites

* Keeping the yard in order plus clean & tidy

* Completing all paperwork

Experience & Skills:

* Plant Hire machine / Construction machinery experience

* Yard experience within Plant Hire, Construction machinery or within a builders merchants

* Used to completing paperwork

* Experience using PDA Tablets & App's, for completing documentation

* IPAF license would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given

This role could suit someone working as: Yardman, Yard Person, Yard Operative or similar

This position is commutable from; Royal Tunbridge Wells, East Peckham, Hadlow, Halstead, Oxted, Croydon, Epsom, Maidstone, Rochester, Dartford, Hildenborough, Redhill & surrounding areas close to these areas.
