Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operatives

Location: Totton, Southampton

Salary: £22,048 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7.30 am to 4 pm)

We are currently hiring for 2 Warehouse Operatives to work in Totton, Southampton. Previous experience in a warehouse and goods in/out department supporting a manufacturing facility would be advantageous.

In this role, you will be working in a small manufacturing team, providing a bespoke product/service. Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking stock parts to form parts of seating systems for clients.
• Logging and recording picked parts and placing them in the work-in-progress (WIP) area.
• Placing orders with suppliers to replenish stock when reorder levels are reached.
• Packing finished seats and wheelchairs into boxes or loading them onto pallets for shipment.
• Unpacking and booking in parts and wheelchairs delivered to the facility.
• Updating production plans and stock control systems.
• Conducting perpetual and annual stock takes.
• Maintaining the store's tidiness and organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Background or experience in warehouse operations and stock control.
• Practical mindset.
• Computer skills and experience with stock control systems or the ability to learn.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and motivation.
• Organization and ability to work according to a plan.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
