Job Opportunity: Part-Time Personal Care Assistant for Quadriplegic Individual

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a part-time Personal Care Assistant for a quadriplegic man. The role involves a variety of duties, including regular domestic tasks, cooking, cleaning, personal care, and driving. No prior experience is necessary, but applicants must meet specific requirements:

Requirements:

• Physical capability to assist with manual transfers from a day-chair to a rugby chair
• Full and clean driving license
• Ability to provide references
• A good sense of humor
• Reliability is paramount

Job Details:

• Hours: 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Tuesdays (to provide transportation to and from wheelchair rugby)
• Friday: Sleepover until Saturday 6:00 pm once a month
• Weekends: 3 to 4 full weekends per year, particularly when attending wheelchair rugby tournaments
