Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Management:

   • Efficiently manage a demanding workload of up to 80 drops per day.
   • Plan and optimize routes using provided delivery software for timely deliveries.
   • Handle packages with care, ensuring secure loading and unloading.
   • Follow safety protocols for the transportation of goods.

2. Communication and Reporting:

   • Maintain clear communication with the dispatch team, providing updates on delivery status and any issues.
   • Use technology tools to report and document delivery exceptions or discrepancies.
   • Collaborate with colleagues to improve delivery operations.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's Licence: Clean and valid driver's licence with an excellent driving record.
• Experience: Previous multi-drop driver or similar delivery experience preferred.
• Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights safely.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication.
• Navigation Skills: Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail for accurate deliveries.
• Professionalism: Customer-centric mindset and professional demeanor.
• Reliability: Dependability and punctuality for meeting delivery deadlines.

Additional Information:

• This position requires your own vehicle, which must be in good condition, bodywork and mechanically, and no older than 5 years since the first date of registration.
• You will need a DBS check, right to work in the UK, a Full UK driving licence, and all relevant insurance cover for your vehicle.
