Mobile Plant Fitter / Mechanic

Our client, a rapidly expanding worldwide organisation, now requires an experienced skilled Mobile Service Fitter/Engineer to service, maintain and problem solve shredders and other recycling machinery. They are looking for someone who meets the below requirements. Location is not important as they have availability all over the UK. 

In this role as a Mobile Service Fitter/Engineer, you need to have good customer service skills and relevant experience or qualifications within the rental industry. This is a fantastic chance to use your engineering skills in a varied role and join the UK market leader in powered access.

The ideal candidate will have:

Relevant qualifications.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Impressive knowledge of hydraulics, engines and electrics.
Experience working on shredders and plant equipment, advantage but not essential.
Essential timekeeping and organisational skills.
Team player who is eager to learn more from those around him.
Happy to work away from home and some weekends.
Have the ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
Good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
