Role Overview
As a Furniture Assembler, your main responsibility will be to skillfully assemble furniture using hand and power tools. You'll play a crucial role in producing top-notch furniture pieces that meet client demands and tight deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Producing high-quality and precise work within specified timeframes.
- Conducting thorough inspections of finished and in-process work to identify and address any defects or flaws.
- Maintaining a flexible approach to work and being a proactive team player, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements, ensuring personal and company-wide compliance.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1-year experience in joinery or furniture bench assembly.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow plans and specifications accurately.
- Passion for delivering high-quality products.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with other departments or teams.
- High energy level and endurance to manage the demands of the role.
- A joinery qualification is not essential but considered an advantage.
