Your Role
As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for planning and designing new electric vehicle charging hubs on both brownfield and greenfield sites. Your primary focus will involve creating detailed schematics for these innovative installations, collaborating closely with the design team to ensure the successful completion of projects within high-value partnerships. Utilizing essential design software like AutoCAD and Trimble, you'll contribute to the efficient execution of projects. Reporting to the Head of Design will be part of your role.
Your Experience
Ideally, your background will encompass experience in rail, M&E (Mechanical & Electrical), forecourt development, car parks, or EV charging infrastructure. This diverse portfolio will equip you with the necessary expertise to oversee hub projects effectively. Your proven ability to design intricate schematics for commercial infrastructure will be a cornerstone of your contribution. You'll bring your commercial design experience to this role to facilitate the completion of a growing number of installation projects. Possessing an 18th Edition qualification would be advantageous.
What You'll Receive
The successful Electrical Designer will earn a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on experience. A company car will be at your disposal, offering a choice of electric vehicles like the ID5 or Tesla. The pension contribution stands at eight percent, and you'll enjoy a generous holiday allowance of 28 days.
