Who will I support?

You will be carefully matched and introduced to the person you will be supporting. Your visits will never be rushed as they are never less than one hour.

Because you will get to know one another well, the care that you would provide is never awkward, just natural and rewarding sometimes by just doing the simplest of things.

As a Community Carer the Care & Support an individual requires varies greatly, after all, everyone is unique! All our clients vary from being very independent to some that need much more care and support. You could be preparing breakfast/lunch and assisting someone with their daily routine whilst chatting away or collecting GP prescriptions and shopping. In addition, you may be;

Prompt your client to take their medication.
Prompting with personal care as well as helping with washing, ensure there are clean clothes, undressing, brushing teeth
Preparing lunch together, taking care of their nutrition is important.
Going on outings, hospital visits or visiting the shops.
End of the day companionship, hot drink, and chat before bedtime.

Key Information

£9.25 - £10.00 per hour, plus 25p per mile mileage & Paid Travel Time
Award-Winning Paid Training
Flexible, Part-Time Hours (16-30 hours per week)
Working a Saturday or Sunday with days off in the week
A COVID-19 safe, aware, organisation, with access to the COVID-19 Vaccine and regular weekly COVID tests
