We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and organised GDC registered Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. Serenity Dental Care is well established mixed dental practice located near the town centre. It is a 10-minute walk from the train and bus station.

Our Practice provides a wide range of dental treatments. We see a variety of patients and provide both NHS and Private dental treatments, so no two days are the same.

We are a friendly and caring team who are keen to welcome a new and committed member.

The position is for full-time Mon-Friday

Monday-Wednesday 9.00am-6.00pm, Thursday 9.00am-5.00pm, Friday 9am-4pm.

· Up to date Hep B vaccinations

· Attention to detail when multitasking

· Punctuality and good attendance is essential, Working knowledge of iSmile computer software desirable - however, training will be given.

Responsibilities:

· Dental Nurses will assist in various duties such as chairside duties, patient care, infection control and setting up decontamination of instruments, maintaining equipment and surgery procedures.

· Preparing and maintaining the dental equipment, instruments and materials within a dental surgery

· Carrying out infection control and decontamination procedures

· Recording dental charting carried out by clinicians on the computer

· Preparing, mixing and handling dental materials

· Providing chair-side support to the dentist throughout a range of dental procedures

· Providing support and reassurance to patients

· Providing administration support and Undertake reception duties in making appointments, taking payments and dealing with paperwork. An experienced dental nurse will use his/her knowledge of dentistry to anticipate what is needed during treatment sessions, a skill that is highly valued by the clinician.

· Ability to prioritise workload and maintain confidentiality required

· Attend and participate in practice meetings.

· Undergo training as may be required/identified to develop skills and abilities.

· Attend refresher and update training on-site for medical emergencies and CPR etc.
