Delivery Driver / Drayman

This is a full-time role of around 35-40hrs, Five days a week. The five working days will include Sat and Sun and three weekdays. The working day is 10 am-6:30 pm. Finish times will vary due to the nature of the business. This is a permanent contract.

We are Barmaster Wholesalers, we offer a same-day delivery service to the licensed trade in and around West Yorkshire.

The applicant needs to be fit and healthy, as the job involves moving and handling heavy beer barrels and carrying cases in and out of pub cellars and up and downstairs.

You will spend most of your time driving a transit van and making deliveries alone.

A lot of deliveries are time focused, so you will be expected to work promptly and efficiently.

You must be 25 or over and have held your driving license for a minimum of 2 years for insurance purposes.

Experience driving Vans/wagons is preferable.

The position is permanent, after a successful 3 month trial period.

DBS checks will also be done.

The rate of pay is £10.00ph Monday to Friday and £12ph on weekends.
