The companySuccessful manufacturing organisation developing a range of complex equipment to highly regulated global markets.

The role: As Manufacturing Manager, you will have two key objectives:

Supporting manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and maintenance of production capacity to ensure the business stays ahead of commercial demand.

To utilise your technical / engineering acumen to support ongoing industrialisation of products

The company design and develop and manufacture within their busy production facility and are looking for a skilled contract Manufacturing Manager to join the team.

As Manufacturing Manager, you will undertake a key role and assume responsibility for leading and developing the shop floor team across assembly and test areas, looking at ways to increase manufacturing output and units produced using your technical expertise.

As such you will have a strong engineering background as well as a leadership capability.

Key responsibilities as Manufacturing Manager will include:

Leadership and line-management of your shop floor team, setting and developing objectives and targets

Planning and managing the people/resourcing levels to ensure that team members are used effectively in the delivery of objectives

Working with design and engineering to identify ways of scaling-up and laying out products on the shop floor

To succeed in this role you will need to be an experienced Manufacturing Manager from a mechanical / electro-mechanical assembly environment with proven leadership skills.

Qualification in an engineering discipline HNC/D+ ideally sought and first-class communication and problem-solving skills essential.
