Hikaru Shotokan Karate-Do

Hikaru Shotokan Karate-Do has branches in Cramlington and Gosforth. We welcome all ages and all abilities, and in our dojo we adapt our teaching to the needs of the individual. We, as a club, follow and teach traditional Shotokan Karate-Do as originally developed by Master Gichin Funakoshi & Master Hirokazu Kanazawa. We currently offer four types of class: Senior Grades – for students who have achieved 3rd Kyu (brown belt) or higher Mixed Grades – for all students, from beginner to advanced Juniors – for our younger students Magic – our specialised class for students with complex additional needs
