Service Engineer (Electrical)

Job Title: Service Engineer (Electrical).

Salary: Between GBP25,000 to GBP35,000 (dependant on experience).

Location: Barnsley.

OVERVIEW:

My client is a highly reputable and growing welding supply and service business based in Barnsley with easy access from all main roads. Throughout the history of the business, they have built a reputation for the high standard of work they consistently deliver. Due to the growth of the business, they are seeking an experienced Service Engineer (Electrical) to join their friendly and professional team

THE ROLE:

As a business, your work will be varied due to the nature of service, repair and testing the products supplied.

As a Service Engineer, the area you will cover is West and South Yorkshire.

Depending on the workflow for that week you could either be out on-site annually testing products or be called to a service where you will look to repair the product, alternatively, you could be within the repair centre at the Barnsley depot repairing items. This is an electrically biased role and requires someone who has the knowledge and experience of working within a similar industry of welding products.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm and Friday is 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, however, due to the nature of the business these hours can vary, so you must be flexible for this. If working over set hours you can either get your time back or be paid overtime.

My client is seeking an experienced Service Engineer (electrical) who has knowledge of working, repairing, servicing and testing welding machines.
