The Rennie Rose is a widebeam canal boat that is available for rent while the owners are living abroad. This unique and charming living space offers a comfortable and compact lifestyle on the canals. The boat features:

• A well-equipped bathroom.
• A back deck and a front deck for outdoor enjoyment.
• The option to relax on the roof, providing a private roof terrace experience.

The boat includes modern amenities to make canal living convenient and enjoyable, such as hot water, a rain shower, central heating, a wood-burning stove, microwave, washing machine, and a 6-hob rotisserie oven.

The rental costs are minimal, covering the Canal and River Trust License fee, insurance, essential maintenance, engine and structural costs. Monthly expenses for the tenant should not exceed approximately £60 in total, covering gas, diesel, pump-out toilet, and coal/wood in winter.

The owners will provide training on how the boat operates and how to navigate it, which should take about 6 half-days. They will also be available for any questions or issues and have a network on the canals to offer assistance.

Please note that the boat operates as a continuous cruiser, requiring relocation every two weeks. The boat will typically be located in central or desirable areas, including Notting Hill, Camden, Haggerston, Victoria Park, Hackney, and Clapton. These locations offer good transport links close to the canal routes. Over the year, the boat needs to cover a distance of 40 miles, roughly from Kensal Green in the west to Walthamstow in the north-east.

The current location of the Rennie Rose is in the West, near Wembley.
