C++ Software Engineer

An electronics business who specialise in the development of optical recognition and detection systems require a C++ Software Engineer to join their R&D team.

In this role, you will be working on new C++ Linux and Windows developments, with the initial project being Linux based. The primary programming language will be C++, with some C#.

The systems you will be developing use Machine Learning, Computer Vision and AI technology. Any experience or interest in this area would be advantageous.

Due to the nature of the optical systems, it is required that you have a strong mathematical background, as the systems require calculations to be done for its coordinate systems.

The taskwork on offer is particularly attractive as it is all 'new software development'. The optical systems are rapidly evolving due to strong customer demand and continual investment in new R&D. Each system requires bespoke customer features and customization. This provides lots of interesting software development opportunity.
