For Sale: BMW 320d Efficient Dynamics - 156,000 Miles - £2,750 ONO
Up for sale is my BMW 320d with a mileage of 156,000. I have used this car for my daily commute to Bristol for the past few months. However, I now require another 4x4, which is why I am selling it. This BMW has been reliable during my ownership, although I have invested a significant amount in its maintenance.
Previously, the car had an oil leak that caused smoke due to oil reaching the manifold. After investigation, we discovered that the rocker cover was the culprit, which is a common issue with these models. I had the rocker cover and gasket replaced with brand new ones. Additionally, we replaced one of the injectors with a new Bosch injector since it was damaged during the removal process. The car has also undergone a full service and had the front brake pads replaced.
Being an Efficient Dynamics model, this BMW benefits from a low annual road tax of only £20 and offers impressive fuel efficiency, delivering nearly 700 miles per tank depending on driving style. The vehicle does have some general damage, particularly to the driver's side front bumper, which occurred prior to my ownership. I never found it necessary to replace or repair the bumper, as it did not affect the car's performance.
Please note that the stop-start system is currently not functional, as it displays a fault message whenever it attempts to operate. However, this issue does not impact the vehicle's performance. Based on my research, it seems that the problem may be related to the battery, potentially caused by insufficient power. Once again, this does not affect the car in any way.
I possess all the necessary paperwork for the car, except for the V5 document. The car is currently on a private plate, and I am awaiting the new V5 from DVSA. Rest assured, when the document arrives, I will provide a receipt for the vehicle, and both details will be transferred accordingly.
