2006 BMW X3 3.0D Auto Spare or Repair

For sale BMW X3, 3.0d, 06 regs, fabulous car and has taken me all over the country, this is the M sport model and has the upgrade 19' wheels all with BMW * rated Pirelli tyres with plenty of life left in them.Spare or repair as the engine has developed a tapping noise and I suspect it has swallowed a swirl flap but have not investigated this any further, the car still starts and runs for loading but it tapping. Must be recovered, cannot be driven away due to tapping. This is my own vehicle and I have owned it for around 7 years, no expense spared on this car, tyres alone cost me £800 and I am gutted to have to sell but I do not have the time to repair. £1500 is firm, I will not take a penny less so don't offer, this is a bargain for someone with the time to fix.
