Warehouse Work - Part Time

We require a part-time warehouse person for 16-20hrs per week.

Based in Bramley LS13, you will assist in various warehouse duties including:

Support the functioning of the warehouse

Handling and booking in stock - items can often be heavy and will require manual handling

Stock inspection, recording condition

Wrapping and Labelling

Stock Rotation

Local Deliveries to Retail Customers - as part of a two person team

Allocating stock into the correct locations

Disposing of waste packaging

General housekeeping and maintaining a clean and tidy working environment

Follow Health & Safety procedures

We are looking for someone with the following:

- Must be strong and physically fit, many of our goods are expensive, very heavy and bulky, they are also delicate and must be handled carefully and safely - we will carry out a test of strength and capability at interview stage.

- Competent, with the ability to follow procedures and Health & Safety practises and procedures at all times

- Reliable, trustworthy and with excellent time keeping

- Have a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work

- Good command of English both written and spoken, you will need to complete written documents and will interact with customers

- Excellent communication skills

- Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic

- Smart appearance, as you will be representing our business with customers occasionally

Qualifications / training / experience:

Applicants must be able to provide the following;

- Previous warehouse experience

- UK Class B (Car) Driving Licence

- Able to provide previous employment references

Pay & benefits

£10.00 per hour
