Picker Packer Warehouse Operative with good team working and manual handling skills with previous warehouse experience is required in Daventry, Northamptonshire, East Midlands.

This is an exciting opportunity for Warehouse Operatives to join a new customer start-up at the company’s E-Fulfilment HQ site.

WORKING HOURS & SALARY

SALARY: £21,112 per annum pro rata + Benefits (see below)

JOB TYPE: Permanent and 12 Month Fixed Term, Full-Time Contract Positions Available

SHIFT PATTERNS:

Tuesday – Saturday 6am -2pm (Fixed)

Tuesday – Saturday 2pm-10pm (Fixed)

Sunday-Thursday 6am-2pm (Fixed)

Sunday-Thursday 2pm-10pm (Fixed)

WORK PATTERN: Any 5 from 7 Days

LOCATION: Daventry, Northamptonshire, East Midlands

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Picker Packer Warehouse Operative who will generally ensure that goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time.

We have multiple jobs available covering both permanent and fixed-term contract positions.

Working as a Picker Packer Warehouse Operative you will join a company who are extremely passionate about what they do. They pick, pack, store and deliver everything from raw materials to consumables, spare parts and finished goods. As a successful candidate you will ideally also have had previous experience of working in a similar environment, with WMS awareness and experience with RDT/RF equipment, however this is not essential as additional training will be provided.

DUTIES

As a Picker Packer Warehouse Operative your key responsibilities include:

Ensure that goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time

Maintain a tidy and organised work area

Ownership of all relevant documentation associated with the role

To accurately receive, assemble (if required) and load customer orders

Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and processes

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As a Picker Packer Warehouse Operative you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

Previous warehouse experience

Work effectively as part of a team

Manual handling skills - this is a physically demanding role

Operating of mechanical handling equipment

Ability to understand and follow instructions

MHE experience – PPT and Forklift Truck / Counter Balance or an interest to learn MHE

flexible in approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first time and passionate approach
