Pair matching vintage/antique picture / photo frames. Each frame is made of a silver-coloured metal which appears to be silver-plated brass. They are decorated with a hammered-effect pattern and small corner mounts with impressed dot-rosettes. The glass on the fronts of the frames is convex.
The removable backs are covered with velvet fabric and have an adjustable 'rest' so that the frames stand upright. There is an impressed maker's logo on each frame, one is clearer than other. Although I can't read the maker, it is a London company.
Each frame measures 3.5 inches x 5.5 inches. They currently hold a couple of old postcards but these can easily be changed for photos of your choice
I haven't attempted to clean the frames but they appear to be dirty rather than tarnished, although there is some slight wear to the plating, hence the note above that the base metal is brass.
