Victorian Sideboard. Stunning Quality

Quality Victorian sideboard in wonderful condition-see the photographs -from the dining room of the Victorian home we have downsized from. This is a high-quality item that we bought from the owners of the 1885 mill owners house that we purchased in 1985- not the usual cheaper copied furniture you see on many sites. It is not cheap, but quality never is and it is wood worm-free, unlike much-advertised original furniture! A unique special feature is a way the end drawers open. We were told it was purchased from Harrods in London and we were offered a number of other quality items by the sellers who were downsizing, but we could only afford to buy this sideboard and the wonderful large mahogany mirror that we have listed separately. Harrods, like many famous London stores, had a large quality antique department that only closed when a certain Egyptian bought Harrods in 1996 !!! Its furniture is rare. We have now downsized home so sadly it has to be passed on to someone who appreciates quality furniture- it will go in any sort of home! There are 3 good size drawers - all felt-lined and 3 doors with an internal shelf that runs across the width. It is approximately 56 inches wide and 63inches high.
