Procurement Commercial Manager

I am delighted to be recruiting for a Procurement Commercial Manager opportunity for my well-respected public sector client.

This is a permanent, remote/home-based position offering a competitive salary and recruiting on a national basis. Occasional travel may be required.

The role:

· Leading on end-to-end procurement of varied and multiple procurements.

· Developing sourcing strategies demonstrating commercial acumen to cover key categories and deliver improved results.

· Providing capability assurance to improve oversight of spending by suppliers/partners.

· Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.

· Managing compliance obligations.

The person:

· Public sector procurement experience desirable

· Significant procurement and strategic sourcing experience

· Experience with implementation of frameworks

· Project management background and ability to work to deadlines

· Strong influencing and negotiation skills

· Strong stakeholder and supplier management experience.
