Teaching Assistant Required with Phonics Experience.
Empowering Learning are currently working with a large Primary School in Bromley. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in Early Years and KS1. They must have experience teaching Phonics.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with particular individual needs, some teaching assistants work one-to-one, while others work in small groups. Many schools employ teaching assistants with particular specialisms, including literacy, numeracy, special educational needs (SEN), music and creative arts. If you are bilingual, you might do more work with children whose first language is not English.
The School are looking for:
Thorough knowledge of EYFS/KS1 and a strong subject-knowledge base
A proven track record of teaching phonics to younger children
Ideally, have experience of using RWI to teach phonics
Believe all children can achieve
Will be patient and caring with the ability to build good relationships with children and work closely with parents and other professionals that we can offer:

It helps children hear, identify and use different sounds that distinguish one word from another in the English language. I am currently recruiting Teaching assistants confident and with knowledge of delivering Phonics e.g Jolly Phonics, Read Write Inc, Letters & Sounds, to support teachers and help children with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom.
