Permanent Weekend Carer - £13.00 per hour

A permanent weekend carer is required to assist a Glenrothes lady with her personal care. The lady has multiple sclerosis and is hoist dependent. A very caring and patient disposition is sought and a good sense of humour desirable. Previous experience is not essential as comprehensive training will be given and there is an opportunity to gain an SVQ2 qualification in health and social care and registration with the SSSC.

The hours of work will be 9.00 - 12.00 am on Saturday morning and 6.30 - 8.30 pm Saturday evening and 7.30 - 10.30 am Sunday morning and 7.00 - 9.00 pm Sunday evening (some flexibility possible). The rate of pay will be £13.00 per hour and there will be an additional payment of £35.00 each day as you would be required to be on call for the rare occasion where emergency personal care is required between the morning and evening shift. The total payment would be £100.00 per day and there would be six weeks of paid holiday.
