Pastry Chef (shift leader) required for production kitchen. Full-time position. Working as part of a team of 4. Straight shifts with the potential for hours to vary. Salary negotiable based on experience.
Job duties:
Work closely with the team to develop new recipes and oversee large scale production of sweet and savoury pastry items.
Good organizational skills
Good leadership skills to help lead a team of 4
Requirements:
Food safety and hygiene level 3 or higher
Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and fulfil paperwork in accordance with requirements for each shift.
Must have previous experience in contract catering and/or large volume production.
