De Lacy Executive has been retained to recruit an on-farm Sales Consultant in South West Wales as a result of further expansion within the company. Our client is a successful and pioneering genetics company providing genetics and advice to both dairy and beef farmers, this company is at the forefront of current and extensive research aiming to maximise full livestock potential for farmers.
This exciting role will see you out on farms building effective relationships with farmers from their well-established customer base, as well as seeking out new prospective clients. The successful candidate would be required to advise on the best use of the company's products and services as well as assisting with issues with fertility and productivity within the herd.
This is a unique opportunity for either a practised sales candidate or alternatively an experienced herd or livestock manager looking to cross over into the commercial sector whilst utilising their experience. This position will involve comprehensive training and ongoing development.
Candidate Requirements
Excellent communication skills. Full UK driving license is essential. Previous sales experience would be an advantage. Self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate would have good knowledge of dairy cattle management and breeding. Remuneration: A competitive remuneration package will be offered, including a company car.
