Live in Housekeeping Manager, Building and Gardens Caretakers

We are seeking a live-in estate and venue management couple to act as our housekeeping manager,

buildings and gardens caretaker at Bore Place, a 500-acre organic farm estate in West Kent that provides a unique venue with sustainability at its heart. The estate is home to a charity delivering programmes for young people, public and private events and courses, as well as a home for complementary rural businesses. Our vision is a world where people and nature work together to regenerate ourselves and the planet.

The purpose of these roles is to ensure the care of all clients, maintain the general upkeep of

Bore Place and work to build our reputation as a premium venue.

We are looking for a friendly and welcoming couple who are well-organised and will embrace the

Bore Place ethos and can demonstrate practical skills, a commitment to high standards and a

can-do attitude.

Responsibilities will include managing the events and housekeeping team, acting as the lead

host role for all groups staying at Bore Place, planning for the needs of all visiting groups

to Bore Place, maintaining the general upkeep of the grounds and buildings, basic cooking and

food prep, and coordinating and providing some of the 24/7 emergency on-call support services for guests.

communication skills who can direct and manage a team of 7 staff and who can demonstrate an

inherent drive for customer service and exceptional satisfaction levels.
