Live-in Caretaker / Under Gardener in Devon

Our returning HNW client is currently seeking am enthusiastic and responsible Live-in Caretaker/Under Gardener for their small estate in Devon.

This is a varied role, which will include:

Residential caretaking responsibilities
Working with the other domestic staff
Gardening, under the supervision of the Head Gardener
Groundsman duties and care of leisure facilities

This is an ideal role for someone who aspires to become an estate manager and gardening experience is not essential, but you must demonstrate that you can take responsibility and show initiative.

Working Days/Hours: Rota is done on a monthly basis, working 5 or 6 days out of 7 including weekends. Hours range between 8-5/6pm depending on whether the Principals are in residence and if they have guests.

Salary negotiable depending on experience and qualification.

Accommodation: En-suite bedroom with a shared kitchenette

To start: as soon as possible

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
