Brat, Shoreditch opened in 2018 inspired by the restaurants in the costal towns in the Basque country where impeccably sourced local produce is cooked simply over fire. Led by chef Tomos Parry, Brat’s menu is based around the open fire wood grill and informed by the close relationships we have with our growers, farmers and fishermen who supply our produce.
The menu changes frequently with our team holding daily briefings around the open-kitchen pass to develop dishes, tastings and sample new wines from the menu. Our wine team work closely with Keeling Andrew Co and small auctions to create a list of 250+ wines with our bar team developing seasonal drinks menu.
The team has grown and achieved numerous accolades including gaining a Michelin Star and placed in the Worlds 50 Best list. Brat’s core belief is that restaurants can be better connected to farming and the seasons and we encourage our teams to progress their understanding of this through specialised team training and regular visits to our farms and growers.
Brat is committed to fostering an environment where everyone is welcome, included, encouraged, and challenged with genuine career progression opportunities whilst working with us.

SUPER 8 RESTAURANTS
The Super 8 Restaurants story began with a DIY conversion of a tiny Soho bar on Denmark Street, here Smoking Goat opened in 2014. We will always be an independent, small restaurant group and have now opened four unique restaurants; Smoking Goat, Kiln, Brat and Brat x Climpson’s Arch. We have achieved numerous accolades within our industry, including Number 1 Restaurant in UK at the National Restaurants Awards, Worlds 50 Best, and Michelin Star and Bib Gourmand. As we grow our belief that restaurants can be better connected to farming and the seasons means that what is on the plate and in the glass remains the focus of what we do. Our restaurants are places where our team can express their passions and curiosities, be that in music and our vinyl record collection to learning to make house ferments cocktails. On this journey, we are committed to fostering an environment where everyone is welcome, included, encouraged and challenged with genuine career progression opportunities whilst working with us.
