The Duke of Normandie is a 3* hotel with 40 bedrooms situated in the heart of St Peter Port. The business mix is made up of corporate and leisure trade, and the hotel is busy all year round.
We are seeking to recruit someone with a minimum of two years of hotel reception experience in a 3 or 4-star hotel. Previous experience of working with questline/rezlynx is preferable but not mandatory.
Excellent written and spoken English is vital, along with a positive 'can-do attitude and high levels of customer care skills.
The shifts are 7am-3pm and 2.30-10.30pm = 48 hours per week. Duties include guest check-in/out, daily banking reconciliation, handling reservations by telephone and email, dealing with guests queries etc.
Live-in accommodation is available next door to the hotel. Guernsey is a small, pretty and safe Island with a low-income tax.
