Head Chef - Foresters Guild, Portobello

We are on the lookout for a passionate Head Chef to join our busy seaside gastropub in the trendy area of Portobello. Serving homemade gastropub style food including our ever-popular Sunday roast, pub classics & seafood specials.

The right candidate will be a team player who thrives in a busy atmosphere, is hungry for success and has a love for creating exceptional dishes using fresh, local and seasonal produce to showcase the best of what Scotland has to offer.

As Head Chef you will be responsible for:

Managing the kitchen team to ensure we always deliver exceptional fresh and seasonal food to specification, ensuring that we never compromise on taste and quality
Design and create new dishes and menus
Drive sales and monitor costs through responsibly ordering via quality and preferred suppliers
Food safety, health and safety and COSHH
Manage rotas according to the business needs
