Gymnastics coach Level 2 or higher.
Part-time - Self Employed basis.
The days available are below. We are looking for anyone who can do some or all the below sessions.
Monday's (after school-evening) - Warlingham - Two classes, one 2 hours, and one 1 hour - Floor and Vault squad levels and an adult class
Tuesday’s (after school-evening) - Warlingham - One 1 and a half hour class - Artistic squad levels
Wednesday’s (after school-evening) - Warlingham - Two 1 hour classes - recreational beginner to intermediate levels
Thursday’s (after school-evening) - Warlingham - Two classes, one 1 hour and one 1 and a half hours - recreational beginner and Tumbling squad levels
Friday’s (after school-evening) - Warlingham - Two classes, one 1 hour and one 1 and a half hours - beginner to intermediate levels
Saturday's (mornings)- Warlingham - 3 classes, two 40 minutes classes and one 1 hour class - recreational preschool and beginner levels - walking age to 8 years old
Set up and set down of equipment at start and end of sessions required, with assistance available.
Weekday classes run throughout the year (closing only for Christmas and Bank Holidays) - Saturday's close for Easter, Summer and Christmas.
Requirements:
Be available straight away for permanent coaching or from March 2022 for 6 months maternity cover
Level 2 minimum British Gymnastics, UK Gymnastics or IGA qualification
Must have a DBS check (we can assist with this is required)
Must have IGA insurance (we can assist with this if required)
Preferrably First Aid trained, or willing to go on a First Aid course soon
Must have Safeguarding certificate
Has previous coaching experience (at least 1 year)
Must be punctual, extremely reliable, consistant, and a dedicated team player.
Enthusiastic, motivated and energetic. Keen to pass on knowledge and have a passion for gymnastics and working with children.
Should have experience with writing lesson plans - although these can be provided.
Coaches are encouraged to expand their individuallity and run classes how they see fit, as well as being able to follow the clubs guidelines and rules. As well as expressing their individuality, coaches must be able to work as a team, and be willing to work with asisstant coaches, guiding them to progress their own coaching skills.
Applicants will be invited in for a trial coaching period
Part-time hours: 3 - 15 per week
Expected start date: by March 2022 but preferably earlier.
