Global Legal M&A Director

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Reporting to the group's Chief Legal Officer, this position is chiefly responsible for providing legal support on key M&A projects and transactions, as well for managing securities and capital market matters. Main Responsibilities: Assist the global groups and the business units on M&A projects, which may include complex cross-border transactions, the formation of JVs, new acquisitions or divestitures, complex market entries, global and regional strategic partnership and alliances with key distributors and suppliers. Active participation in the negotiations and management of the due diligence and drafting processes regular legal support to group's Venture Capital Fund Management of global procurement-related contracts help structure and execute group's capital strategy support on securities and capital market related legal activities in close partnership with Investor Relations, Finance and other areas this Legal Director will lead a group of in-house corporate and transaction lawyers based out of London and Sao Paulo. An accredited lawyer with strong academic backgroundMinimum 10-year experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel Successful track record with complex cross-border transactions and corporate restructuringSolid capital market experience strong leadership skills Position is based in London, with frequent international travel personal Requirements: Health and Safety: Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.Ability to maintain a composed and professional demeanour within a flexible and (at times noisy) work environment.
