Parched London is a small, independent pub company in South London. We are looking to recruit a General Manager at The White Horse, a very busy and well-established public house in Peckham.
The Role
Your role will be running a large site from top to bottom. A strong focus on your team and quality of offer. You will be responsible for running the bar, hiring and training needs of all staff. You will also be responsible for all aspects of back of house administration, including stock control, ordering, cashing up, due diligence and HR.
You will work closely with the Directors and Head Chef to drive the business forward finding new efficiencies and to push turnover whilst being an additive presence amongst a pub popular with locals across a broad range of ages.
Required Skills and experience:
- Minimum two years experience within a management role in hospitality
- Proven track record of increasing footfall to a venue or business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for hospitality
- Cellar trained
- Social media savvy
- Knowledge of the local area and hospitality scene
